What you should know
- This is not a replacement for the fountain. The water in a gravity dispenser is still: it stays clean, but it doesn't have the pull of running water. If your cat drinks little, the fountain is still the right tool; this dispenser is made for absences.
- Use with dry kibble only. Wet food blocks the channel and turns.
- Rinse the water reservoir every two days in normal use: still water always ends up forming a biofilm.
- For an absence longer than two days, have someone drop in. A dispenser is not a substitute for supervision.
