Chatô Play Tunnel — foldable, 122 cm

A cat that hides is a cat that hunts. The tunnel answers two instincts at the same time: concealing itself, and pouncing on whatever passes. That's why it works when half the toys end up under the sofa.

122 cm long, two openings, a side window for ambushing from inside. The fabric rustles when your cat runs through it — that crackle is part of the game, it mimics the sound of prey in leaves.

What we like

• Folds flat in three seconds, stores behind a door
• 122 cm: long enough for a run-up, short enough not to clutter
• Side window: your cat watches and attacks without coming out
• Sprung hoops, no assembly
• Ultra-light: even a kitten can move it

What you should know

• Rainbow colours. That's the standard for this type of tunnel, and we own it: the contrast catches a cat's eye. If you want a discreet object in the living room, this isn't it — but it does fold up and disappear in one movement.
• Thin fabric by nature. A cat that chews a lot will eventually make a hole; it's a toy, not furniture.
• Lay it across a corridor or against a wall: ignored tunnels are almost always the ones left in the middle of an empty room.
• Estimated delivery: 10 to 15 working days.
