Your cat prefers running water — it's instinct. The Chatô fountain circulates and filters the water continuously, so your cat drinks more, every day.

Most cats drink too little. In the wild, a cat avoids still water and looks for living sources: that reflex is exactly why the bowl stays full. The Chatô fountain recreates that movement. Its gentle, steady flow catches your cat's attention and invites it to drink naturally, while the filter keeps the water clean and odour-free between cleans.

1.2 litre reservoir, quiet pump, parts that come apart and wash in two minutes. One filter is included with the fountain.

What you should know

• USB powered. You'll need a standard USB mains adapter (your phone charger will do).
• The filter needs changing roughly every 30 days. We don't sell refills yet: compatible filters are easy to find online under « flower cat fountain filters, 15 cm ». We'll add them to the catalogue once we've checked the fit ourselves — we'd rather sell nothing than sell you a part that doesn't click in.
• This is not a medical device: the fountain supports hydration, it does not treat any illness. If you have a health concern, see your vet.

Common questions

Is it noisy? No, the pump is very discreet. If it does get noisy, it's almost always a water level that's too low or a pump that needs cleaning.
How much power does it use? Very little — it's a low-voltage pump.
How often should I change the filter? Roughly every 30 days, depending on how many cats you have. You can also rinse it between changes.
My cat won't go near it. That's common in the first few days. Leave the old bowl where it is and give it a week.
